Alan Doring Obituary, President of PCYC Tamworth Committee Has Died

Alan Doring Obituary, Death – This community has a very high regard for Alan Doring as a member and leader.
Those who have worked at the PCYC in Tamworth in the past as well as those who are presently employed there found the news that Alan had passed away earlier this week to be heartbreaking. Alan’s history with the PCYC in Tamworth dates back to 2003, when he became a part of the organization’s local team for the very first time as a volunteer. Since that time, Alan has held various roles within the organization.

Since then, Alan has kept up a relationship that has endured for a significant amount of time with the company. In 2005, Alan gave his word that he would serve as the volunteer Coordinator for the program, and he accepted all of the responsibilities that came along with the role. Up until 2019, he remained active in this role; however, due to health concerns, he made the decision to step down from the position. Alan’s time of serving in this capacity spanned the period beginning in 2005 and continuing through 2019.

Alan was chosen to the role of President of the PCYC Tamworth committee in 2010, and he continued to serve in this capacity right up until the time of his passing in 2018. Alan has been a devoted friend and volunteer in the community, and the PCYC in Tamworth would like to recognise his efforts on their behalf. This is because Alan has been volunteering on their behalf. Alan was a member of our team who brought a lot of value to the table, and having him around will be something that we will miss having.
