Alan Weathers Obituary, Douglas Congregational United Church of Christ Mourns Alan Weathers Death
- by Alex Danvers
Alan Weathers Obituary, Death – Our hearts are heavy as we say our final goodbyes to two members of our church who have been there for a very long time. They have been a part of our community for such a significant amount of time, and this will be the last time we see them. They have been a part of our community for such a significant amount of time, but this will be the very last time that any of us will get to interact with them in person. Their extensive track record is evidence that they have a long history of being actively involved in the events that take place in our community.
These events take place in our neighborhood. Both Alan Weathers and Sidney Matheis passed away suddenly this week; Alan Weathers passed away at home on Monday in a calm and peaceful manner, and Sidney Matheis passed away in the hospital yesterday after suffering a stroke. Both deaths were unexpected. Both sets of family members and friends were taken aback by the deaths. Everyone was taken aback by the suddenness of both of their deaths. The news of either one of their deaths came as a complete shock to everyone who knew them, both personally and professionally.
Just a few hours before Sidney passed away, Pastor Sal prayed with Alan’s family as they gathered around the hospital bedside of Sidney to say their final goodbyes. Sidney had been ill for quite some time. Pastor Sal has been in touch with Alan’s family, and just a few hours before Sidney passed away, he prayed with them. Pastor Sal has also been in communication with Alan’s family. There has been communication between Pastor Sal and the members of Alan’s family. As a sign of respect, the deceased members of both families have requested that they be remembered in people’s thoughts and prayers during this time of year. They have asked for this to be done in honor of the holiday season.
