Angelica Ulloa Obituary Notice and Service Information

Angelica Carrasco Ulloa, known as Angie, passed away at age 69 on November 5th, 2022. Angie battled Kindey Disease, but it never stopped her from having a great time with family and friends. She had a brilliant taste for life; She was watching live music any chance she got; and had a sweet spot for Bruno Mars – who she saw in concert months before she passed, multiple times. She loved hosting people at her beautiful home, and if you were lucky enough to try her food you would know she was an incredible cook; her rice is the thing of legend. She also loved to travel; although she was handicapped, she could drive and would drive anywhere to experience something unique.

She passed away at her home surrounded by her close family.  She is survived by her husband, three children and two granddaughters. She graduated from USF with a bachelor’s in computer science. She began working as a waitress at El Burro the age of 17, then a data analyst, a stay at home mom, and finally retired from the Gilroy Unified School District. She had an outstanding career but was an even more impressive family member. Several branches, generations, and extensions in the family have felt her immense love, compassion, and support.

Most people would describe Angelica as a great conversationalist. She was well read; reading fiction, non-fiction, and spiritual texts – and was incredibly open minded. She had an ability to find a common ground with everyone and was always great company. Although we are glad, she is no longer in the pain she was recently feeling, we are crushed by her absence and she will be greatly missed.

Angelica never wanted to be the center of attention, so her services will be private for immediate family only.
