Barbara Clark Obituary, Death – Barbara Clark was born on May 11, 1951 in Taylor County, Kentucky, to the late Arvel and Christine Graham Cox. She currently resides in Campbellsville. Her death occurred on the 22nd of November, 2022, at 2:57 a.m. in Campbellsville at age 71. She belonged to the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and publicly professed her faith in Jesus Christ. Barbara worked as an assistant at the PVA’s Office in Ashland for nearly seven years before becoming a teacher at Fruit of the Loom, where she stayed for nearly ten years.
She married John Richard “Dick” Clark on October 25, 1968, and the couple became husband and wife. Barbara was an extroverted, selfless, and kind-hearted person who relished the time she spent with her family, whom she adored. Sewing, cross stitching, and going on adventures were among her interests. Barbara is survived by two sons: Aaron Clark and wife, Mary Russell of Campbellsville and John Clark and wife, Tracy of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Payton Clark and wife, Sarah, Wade Clark, Whitney Clark, and Luke Clark of Campbellsville; one great-grandchild: Parker Rae Clark; two brothers and two sisters: Danny Cox and wife, Phyllis of Campbellsville, Mike Cox of Gallatin, Tennessee, Judy Cox of Nashville, and Judy Cox of Nashville.Matt Clark, her grandson who died on October 2, 2015, was the one who predeceased her.
VISITATION: Saturday, November 3, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2022, AT 3:00 P.M., A FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH. The Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Campbellsville was founded by Reverend John Butler. BURYING PLACE: Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luke Burress, Luke Clark, Payton Clark, Wade Clark, Whitney Clark, and Allie Pritchett.
