Billy Trevathan Obituary, Billy Trevathan of Cunningham Has Passed Away

Billy Trevathan Obituary, Death – Billy Trevathan, who was 61 years old, passed away at Baptist Health Paducah on the 22nd of November, 2022. He called the town of Cunningham his home. Billy Trevathan was born on March 11, 1961 in Paducah to Luther Trevathan and Mary Burge Trevathan, both of whom have passed away since Billy’s birth. His beliefs were consistent with those of the Baptists. Billy was a Heavy Equipment Operator and had been a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers’ Local 181 for the previous 26 years. During that time, he had been a member for the entirety of his career.

He began his career in excavation and operating heavy equipment when he was just 14 years old and has been doing so ever since. At this point in time, he is 26 years old. One of Billy’s favorite things to do in his spare time was to restore old tractors and work on his own equipment. His family and friends often referred to him as “one in a million,” which meant that they could not think of anyone else who was quite like him. Billy was the kind of person who would offer assistance to anyone in need, and he carried an upbeat attitude and a smile with him throughout the day.

In point of fact, he would do anything for a person in need, even give them the shirt right off his back.
Billy is survived by his wife Ganeen Abanatha Trevathan, who he has been married to for the past 43 years and who also resides in Cunningham; his son Josh Trevathan, who also resides in Cunningham; and a number of nieces and nephews. His four brothers, Jimmy Trevathan, Bobby Trevathan, Terry Trevathan, and Donnie Trevathan, as well as his four sisters, Linda Thomason, Martha Sue Kissiar, Alice Kissiar, and Faye Crews, all passed away before he did. His four sisters were Linda Thomason, Faye Crews, and Martha Sue Kissiar. Both of his parents had already passed away before he was born.

The Reverend Ray Bowles will preside over the funeral services that are scheduled to take place on the afternoon of Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm. These services are scheduled to take place at the Bardwell location of the Milner & Orr Funeral Home. Following the conclusion of the service, the burial will take place at the Berkeley Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home in Bardwell on the evening of November 26, 2022, beginning at five o’clock and continuing until eight o’clock. This event will take place on the Saturday.
