Brandi Rapp Obituary, Coroner IDs victim of fatal crash on I-80 near DuBois

Brandi Rapp Obituary, Death – The Clearfield County Coroner has made public the identity of a female victim who was killed on Friday when an accident on Interstate 80 involving two vehicles occurred. The incident resulted in the victim’s death. According to the information provided by the Clearfield County Coroner, Kim Shaffer Snyder, 33-year-old Brandi Lynn Rapp, a resident of Clarion, has been identified as the individual who passed away. Brandi Lynn Rapp was born in Clarion.
Rapp was pronounced dead at the site of a two-vehicle accident that took place on Interstate 80 near DuBois in Clearfield County on November 19, at 11:15 a.m., according to the official report from the accident investigation. The state of Pennsylvania was the location of the accident. Snyder indicated that blunt force trauma was the cause of Rapp’s death and that the death has been determined to have been an accident. He also stated that the death has been deemed to have been caused by Rapp.
Because Snyder did not wish to go into additional detail regarding the car accident, he declined to do so when given the opportunity. According to the information provided by a 9-1-1 dispatcher working in Clearfield County, the call reporting a collision that involved two vehicles was made at 10:19 in the morning.
The collision that took place involved a semi-truck pulling a trailer as well as a car as one of the vehicles. Sandy Township Hose Company, Adrian Sandy Fire Company #3, and Oklahoma Volunteer Fire Company/Civilian Defense were among the first organizations to arrive at the location of the incident.
Ambulances from multiple different companies, including Amserv LTD, Dusan Community Ambulance, and DuBois EMS Ambulance Service, were sent to the location of the incident. By submitting a Right-to-Know request to the State Police in Clearfield, Explore has inquired about additional information in an effort to gain more insight.
Tina Gibbs, a spokesperson for PennDOT, stated that the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 were closed for a number of hours as a result of an accident that took place on Friday, November 18, between the on-ramp at State Route 1830 Exit 86-Reynoldsville in Jefferson County and Exit 101: PA 255 DuBois/Penfield.
