Cathy’s nine brothers and sisters are among the members of her family who have survived to this day. Catherine was an essential figure in the formation of the family business, which was based in Somerville and focused on providing environmental consulting services. Cathy was an engaged member of the St. James Rosary Altar Society, the League of Women Voters, and a large number of other volunteer organizations for a significant amount of time. At one point, she even held the position of president for one of these groups.

Cathy was employed at Ripple Hill Farm, a peach and apple farm in Basking Ridge that was owned by her family. Ripple Hill Farm was located in Basking Ridge. The farm was under her management. When the Bernards Township Agricultural Committee was first organized, she was one of the first people to sign up as a member of the committee. The Somerset County Freeholders initially appointed Catherine to serve on the Agricultural advisory committee, and they subsequently appointed her to serve on the County Agricultural Board. Catherine is currently serving in both of these roles.

As a result of the recognition she received on the Board for her unique point of view, strong opinions, and analysis that was founded in common sense, she was appointed as a delegate for the County to the State Agricultural Convention on multiple occasions. Cathy was well-known for her unflinching optimism, positive outlook, and strong desire to lend a helping hand to members of her family, her circle of friends, and the community that she considered to be her home. She embraced every moment of life and made the most of every opportunity. Everyone who was ever fortunate enough to get to know Cathy and count her as a friend felt extremely fortunate to have done so. Her loved ones, her friends, and the members of the community that she had aided will suffer great loss as a result of her passing.
