In addition to being one of the pioneering bladers in the United Kingdom, he possessed a strong personality and a dangerous style that went along with it. Charlie was well-known among bladers in the United Kingdom as a consequence of rider profiles and featured images that appeared in magazines during the 90s such as Unity, DNA, and Skatermag.
Earlier in his career, when he was still in his early teens, he rode for the UK Roces squad. Later in his career, he would go on to ride for the Razors team after having previously competed for the UK Roces squad.
