The detectives were able to gather sufficient evidence to warrant the issuance of an arrest warrant for Oliver after receiving information from witnesses as well as members of the community. After being reported missing in the morning, he was discovered and taken into custody in the afternoon on Friday. Oliver is currently going through the process of being booked into the Jackson County Jail, and as soon as this step is completed, he will be moved to the Adult Detention Center in a short amount of time.

After being arrested for assault on November 10 for allegedly stabbing a man in Biloxi during the early hours of that day, he had been granted bail and was free to go at the time of the incident.
