Connie Taylor Obituary, Connie Taylor Has Passed Away

Connie Taylor Obituary, Death – Connie E. Taylor, who was 77 years old at the time of her death on July 15th, passed away. Connie Dickson was welcomed into the world by her parents, William Bud Dickson and Willie Louise (Webb) Dickson, on July 18th, 1944. Connie was a faithful member of the Spring River Baptist Church, where she served in a number of different capacities throughout her time there. She had been employed by the CenturyTel Telephone company in the past before taking early retirement.

She spent many years working for the phone company before eventually retiring and beginning to volunteer at Ms. Kim’s daycare after she had raised her family. When she would see some of the older children out in town, they would still call her grandma Connie, just as they did when she worked at the daycare and all of the children there referred to her as grandma Connie. This continued until the day she passed away. That, in her opinion, was the most distinguished name in the history of the entire universe.

Even though some of her grandchildren were not biologically her offspring, she took a great deal of joy in being able to care for all of her grandchildren. Everyone considered Connie to be their grandma, and they all adored her. Connie is survived by her son Danny Taylor and his wife Kim, her daughter Patsy Bishop and her husband Robin, as well as two grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of great-great-grandchildren.

Her husband Jerry D. Taylor, her sister Betty Lynette Wardlow, and her granddaughter Lori Ann Bishop all predeceased her. Connie’s parents, William Sonny Dickson, Thomas Marshall Dickson, and James Celige Dickson, as well as her husband Jerry D. Taylor, all died before she did. Her granddaughter is the only living relative of Connie.

On the 18th of July in 2022, Mrs. Connie will be laid to rest at the Wortham Funeral Home Oak Hill Chapel in Hardy, Arkansas. The funeral will be held on Monday of this week. Both the viewing and the funeral will begin at ten o’clock in the morning, with the funeral beginning at eleven o’clock. Following the funeral services, the body of the deceased will be interred at the Bronaugh Cemetery in Hardy, Arkansas.
