Corda Kinzie Obituary, Death – We would like to express our deepest condolences to Corda Kinzie’s family and friends on the loss of their loved one or friend who passed away unexpectedly this past week. Corda was a well-liked coworker who was a skilled educator and learner, as well as a life coach, facilitator, and friend. In addition to these roles, Corda was also a friend. In addition to that, we counted her as a friend. Everyone will grieve her passing in their own unique ways. Corda was employed by Syntiro for a significant amount of time in a variety of roles over the course of her tenure there.
She started out as a Regional Facilitator and worked her way up through the company, holding positions such as Director of Professional Development, PBIS coach, GEAR UP Regional Facilitator, and Post Secondary Coordinator, amongst others. Corda’s work in differentiating education was held in exceptionally high esteem throughout the entirety of the state, and she never missed an opportunity to demonstrate her unwavering faith in the possibility of high-level learning for every child. Journeys for Women owes its inception and initial financial support to Corda, who also served as the organization’s founder.
She was instrumental in both the organization’s launch and its acquisition of funding. She was well-known for her role in the development and implementation of the Celebratory Learning concepts, in which she played a significant part, and she hosted a number of the Maine Support Network’s signature event, the Winter Retreat. Her contributions to the development and implementation of these concepts earned her a lot of recognition. The amount of recognition she received is directly proportional to the amount of work she put into the conception and execution of these ideas.
If you have had the opportunity in the past to participate in one of Corda’s educational events, you most likely had a wonderful time and picked up a lot of information that you will be able to put to good use in the years to come. Corda has been enjoying her retirement for a number of years at this point, and during that time, she has been active on the Syntiro Board. At this point in time, Corda is a member of the Syntiro Board. We are indebted to you because of the assistance that you provided for us, and we promise that we will never forget you.
Corda is left by her three kids, Brooks, Spencer, and Arthur, as well as their separate families, her companion Rich Abramson, and a huge number of friends and coworkers who will be eternally thankful for the gift of friendship that Corda provided them. Corda passed away on February 1, 2018. On February 1st, 2018, Corda departed this life. At this time, preparations are being made for a memorial service that will be held at the Samoset sometime in the month of January in order to commemorate her life and pay tribute to her.
