David Hope Obituary, Death – David Hope, who resided in Hixson, Tennessee, and was 68 years old at the time of his death passed away.
David continued his education at the University of Tennessee after graduating from City High School, where he had previously completed his high school studies. David was a die-hard fan of the show “The Volunteers.” He never missed an episode. David’s favorite pastime and one of his most frequently pursued interests was photography. Before David decided to retire from the Vincent Printing Company, he spent a significant portion of his career there as a graphics designer.

David worked there for a number of years. You could always find him behind the camera, whether the event in question was a get-together of the extended family or a vacation. David cherished the time he got to spend outside, especially when they were on their camping trips. One of his favorite things to do, particularly when he was in Florida, was to hang out at the beach. David Hope’s parents, Julius and Aileen Hope, had both previously passed away prior to David’s own passing.

David’s legacy will be carried on by his sister Patsy and brother-in-law Randy Martin, his nieces and nephews Jeff Martin, Stacey Ladd (Robb), and Melissa Brooks (Tim), his great-nieces and nephews Bailey Ladd, Tripp Ladd, and Emma Ladd, Tim Brooks III and Tara Brooks, Gibbs Brooks, and his great-great nephew Lawson Ladd, along with many other close friends. David

A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of David will be held at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:00 pm. The Reverend Randy Martin will preside over the service and it will be a celebration of David’s life. The family will start saying hello to friends and other members of the extended family one hour earlier, at 1:00 pm.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Hospice of Chattanooga for the compassionate care that was given to David in the days leading up to his passing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the St. Elmo United Methodist Church, where David was a member for his entire life, can be made in David’s memory. David was a lifelong member of this church.
