Donna Shay Obituary, Death – DePere, Wisconsin was the location where Donna Shay (nee Beebe), who had reached the age of 96 when she passed away on November 19, 2022, was laid to rest. In New Richmond, Wisconsin, on April 8th, 1926, her parents, Lawrence Beebe and Adeline Beebe, were there to greet her as she made her entrance into the world. 1944 was the year that she graduated from New Richmond schools with her high school diploma. The 16th of September in 1950 was the day they tied the knot. Her spouse at the time was Harold Shay. Donna was employed by both the family furniture store as well as the family mortuary business up until the year 1980 when she finally decided to retire.

Following Donna’s retirement, she and Harold spent the remainder of their time together traveling between Arizona and Balsam Lake up until Harold’s death in 1986. Harold passed away that year. After spending some time in Arizona, Donna eventually made the move to Wisconsin in the middle of the 1990s. She continued to reside there throughout the succeeding years. Before Donna Beebe did, both of her parents, Lawrence and Adeline Beebe, as well as her husband, Harold Shay, and both of her brothers, John and Jim Beebe, passed away. Her children, L. William Shay (Madelyn) and Nancie Rozumalski (Karl), as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, survive her.

Her grandchildren are Catharine Shay (Chris Stephens), Christa Shay, William Shay, Phillip Rozumalski, and Dan Rozumalski (Renee). Her great-grandchildren are Briarly Shay Stephens, Kinsley Rozumalski, and Aslyn Rozumalski. On the evening of Monday, December 5, 2022, there will be a gathering to honor Donna’s life at Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services, which is located at 728 S. Knowles Avenue in New Richmond, Wisconsin. The event will take place from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The burial will take place at the New Richmond Cemetery when it is all said and done. The responsibility of making all of the necessary arrangements have been given to Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services.
