Garry Carpenter Obituary, Death – On the occasion of Gary’s passing, which took place on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the age of 63, we would like to extend our most sincere sympathies to his family and friends. Gary Carpenter, who was born on December 29th, 1958 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, is the child of Robert and Norine Carpenter and was brought into this world by his parents. Throughout his boyhood, Gary was an active member of the Boy Scouts, and he finally achieved the title of Eagle Scout as a result of his dedication. Through his engagement in the Boy Scouts, he was first exposed to the activities that would later become two of his greatest passions: skiing and dirt vehicle racing. Beginning his career on family farms like Pallman’s Poultry and Landsiedel’s, where he took great delight in caring to the gardens and was always prepared to lend a helping hand, he first gained employment in the agricultural industry.

Gary graduated from Tunkhannock Area High School with his diploma in 1976 after completing his secondary studies there. Shortly after that, Gary began his career in the consumer goods industry with Procter & Gamble, where he would continue to work for the next quarter of a century. Kimberly Carpenter, who would eventually become his wife and the mother of his three children, was someone he became acquainted with while he was working at P&G, where she was also working at the time. On August 1, 1987, he wed Kimberly in the Alderson United Methodist Church in front of their separate families, who were there to love and support them throughout the process.

They were successful in constructing a life and a happy home together, and they frequently hosted get-togethers at which they invited their family and friends to join them in celebrating their accomplishments. They developed the property around their house by planting a number of gardens, orchards, and food plots, which required a large amount of their time and effort. Gary and Kimberly have two kids named Kami and Keegan, both of whom they have brought up and given an upbringing that was rich in love, adventure, and opportunity to further their education. He introduced them to many of his passions, including his joy for traveling to new locations and spending time outside in nature, and he shared these hobbies with them.

It is a miracle that Gary and Kimberly have been able to celebrate 34 years of marriage together, and it is a blessing that they have been able to do so. Gary was a devoted sports fan who filled his life with activities associated with his passion for sports, including participating in dirt-track auto racing, skiing in both the United States and Switzerland, and attending a wide range of sporting events. In addition to that, he frequently indulged his passion for being outside in the fresh air. Gary’s favorite ways to share his enthusiasm for fishing and hunting with his loved ones included activities such as fly fishing in the creek, hanging out on the river, and taking trips to Canada. Additionally, Gary was a passionate hunter.
