Gerry Lucas Obituary, Corby Town announces Gerry Lucas’s Death
- by Alex Danvers
Gerry Lucas Obituary, Death – We are sad to inform you that Gerry Lucas, who had served in the past as Life President, Club Secretary, and Mr. Steelmen, passed away not too long ago. In his previous roles, he had held all three of these titles. This is an announcement that is difficult for us to make, and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. At this difficult time, everyone in Corby Town is thinking about Gerry’s family and friends and sending their best wishes their way.
This is because the situation is incredibly difficult. Gerry Lucas was the last remaining member of the old guard, and in addition to being a wonderful person, he was the person who had attended the most games that Corby Town had ever played. He was also the individual who had been the most loyal supporter of the club. The news that he would be leaving us yesterday evening struck me with a mixed feeling of sadness and happiness. It’s the equivalent of missing only one game in thirty years, and that includes games played at home as well as on the road.
RIP Steelmen legend…. Very Disappointing in Every Way Fresh Data And Information After having left the boundaries of the Town of Corby Everyone found out that Gerry Lucas, who had previously served as Life President, Club Secretary, and Mr. Steelmen, had passed away earlier today. Lucas had held these roles at various points in his life. During the roughly twenty years that I spent going to Steel Park, Gerry, a genuine Steelman, a terrific football player, and a nice guy, always made me feel welcome there. During that period, he was successful in giving me the impression that I was a member of the Steelers’ family. He was the personification of the Steelman’s ethos.
