Hazel Lidey Obituary, Death – Hazel “Bugg” Renee Lidey, daughter of Christopher and Samantha Lidey, was blessed with the gift of her magnificent angel wings on Sunday, November 20, 2022. It had only been a few days since she had turned 4.
On September 10, 2018, she gave birth in Catawba County, which was also the location of the event. It seemed as if the sun had come out to shine whenever Hazel walked into a room since she was such a stunning young lady. In addition to this, she never passed up a chance to irritate or make fun of her brother and sister.

She exuded such an abundance of life and love, not to mention the fact that she had a heart made of solid gold. Hazel found great joy not only in making other people laugh but also in viewing videos of Baby Shark and other animals on YouTube. In addition to that, she found great amusement in pausing her brother Mason’s video game in the middle of play so that she could make him giggle and hit his buttons. “Hazel Basil” was her mother’s “heart and spice,” and her father’s life centered on him. Her mother referred to him as “Hazel Basil.” Her brilliant smile and contagious laugh will be warmly remembered for all time, and their absence will be deeply felt.

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her parents, Christopher and Samantha Lidey; her sister, Alaina N. Lidey; her brother, Mason E. Lidey; her paternal grandparents, Terry and Cindy Lidey; her maternal grandparents, Clyde and Mary Jackson; her uncles, Terry Lidey, William Lidey, and their children, Michael, Landon, and Elizabeth Lidey; C.J. Jackson; and numerous other close family members and friends that loved Ha On the evening of Friday, November 25, 2022, beginning at 4:00 pm and continuing until 8:00 pm, friends will get together at the Hickory Funeral Home to celebrate the life of a loved one who passed away.
