Jake Flint Obituary, Death – Jake Flint, longtime Oklahoma Red Dirt music singer-songwriter and recording artist has passed away. According to Facebook posts – With a shattered heart and great regret, I must notify you that Jake Flint has died. I attempted multiple times today to publish, but you can’t remark on something you can’t process. Jake and I are joyously signing our artist management contract in the photo below.

That marked the start of a fantastic friendship and collaboration. Jake meant so much more to me; I adored him as if he were my son. In my career, I’ve never worked with a more humorous, fascinating, hardworking, and enthusiastic artist. We had planned to start a business together after his and Brenda’s wedding yesterday. Yes-yesterday. Jake had a huge network of friends, and I’m not sure how they’ll handle his untimely death. We need prayers because everything is so unreal. Please pray for Jake’s new wife, Brenda, his mother, his sister, and the rest of his family and friends. This will be challenging for many people. Jake, you will be remembered in our hearts forever.

One of music’s greats has died. After receiving that phone call today, our hearts are heavy. Jake Flint, you were definitely unique. He was one of our favorites to have here and see perform at various locations and bars. Please remember to pray for his family, friends, and all of our local musicians. Flint, we shall remember you in our hearts and minds for the rest of our lives. Jake Flint was the most influential person in my life when it came to music. Jake sponsored an Open Mic at Tin Dog Saloon in 2015, and that’s when I started coming up with my modest bass rig and performing alongside him for almost a year. Jake had a big heart and was one of the most humble guys I’d ever met, but his musical talent and enthusiasm were even stronger.
