James Pritzl Obituary, Death – On January 9, 2022, Donna M. Pritzl peacefully entered God’s Kingdom. She was conceived on May 17, 1931, in Wrightstown, Wisconsin, to Elzear and Martha (Lamers) Vanden Wymelenberg. Up until the time of her marriage to Victor Pritzl in 1959, Donna worked at both her family’s store and Home Mutual Insurance. Katie, Dan, and Maria are Darboy natives. Later, she was employed by Appleton Cardiology. Donna gave graciously. Her grasshopper torte proved popular. She wallpapered, reupholstered furniture, and sewed clothing. Her ability to grow plants allowed her to preserve vegetables and perennials for church decorations.
Because Donna played the piano at home, there were lots of carol sing-alongs. If you misplaced something, Donna would pray to St. Anthony on your behalf. She wished her family and friends well while encouraging her grandchildren. Donna was a dynamo of energy. She participated in silly events. Card games, swimming, canoeing, dancing, and skiing were among Donna’s hobbies. It was necessary to sit down in order to watch Wisconsin sports or game shows. She cherished journeys. To ensure a seamless, unforgettable adventure, Donna did extensive research and planning. Her ascension to heaven honors a full life.
We still feel Donna’s love and support and have so many wonderful memories of her. Ten grandchildren include Eric (Jenny) Schreiber, Alyssa (Tommy) Fassbender, Brad (Aleigha), Mitch (Hannah), Scott Schreiber, Betsy (Eliot) Lee, Jacqueline Corey, and Nate (Shanna) Pritz. Maria (Jim) Schreiber, Dan (Dianne), and Katie Pritzl. She is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as 15 great-grandchildren. Marie Jezerc, sister of Rev. Marlyn Vic, and Joan and Dolly Pritzl, sisters-in-law, are Donna’s siblings. Donna was predeceased by her husband, parents, and sister-in-law. Eldora (Bill) Jimenez, Richard (Rita) Pritzl, George Pritzl, Robert (Bernice) Pritzl, Sr. Lucille Pritzl, O.S.F., Marilyn (Weyers) Vanden Wymelenberg, Florent Geurts, Raymond (Ardina) Pritzl, Julius (Isabel) Pritzl, Robert (Bernice) Pritzl, Richard (Rita) Pritz
