Jaquez Johnson Obituary, Death -According to the information that has been gathered, a man in his 30s who was shot by police on Saturday in Southeast Portland has sadly passed away as a direct result of the injuries that he sustained. Saturday was the day that the shooting took place. The Portland Police Department issued a statement on Wednesday stating that the state medical examiner’s office determined that Immanuel Jaquez Clark-Johnson, who was a resident of Portland, died as a result of a gunshot wound.

In addition to this, the statement revealed that the officer in charge of the state medical examiner’s office had determined that Immanuel Jaquez Clark-Johnson resided in Portland.  Clark was discovered in Johnson’s apartment on a specific date, but the police did not disclose that information.

An investigation into the shooting as it relates to the incident is currently being carried out by the Homicide Unit of the Portland Police Bureau, the Office of the Multnomah County District Attorney, and the East County Major Crimes Team. It was early on Saturday morning, just before 12:30 in the morning, when a report of an armed robbery was made, and officers responded shortly before that time. According to the police, an officer saw a vehicle that was believed to have been involved in the robbery driving erratically before it came to a stop in the parking lot of Redwood Friends Church.
