Jon Marsh Obituary, Death -On November 16, 2020, Jonathan Michael Marsh was involved in a car accident and passed away as a result. His parents, Michael, and Sally Marsh, welcomed him into the world on October 31st, 1984. Jonathan spent his childhood in Westminster, Massachusetts, and received his diploma from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School in 2003 with a concentration in Industrial Technology. He spent almost a decade working for Huhtala Oil and Propane, and during that time, he came to regard his employer as a dear friend. He was a loving and devoted father who cherished his daughter above all else in the world.

Additionally, Jonathan was a very talented drummer who had a passion for amassing a collection of cymbals and making music with his close friends. He was a huge fan of automobiles and would spend hours upon hours watching the Barrett-Jackson car shows. Jon had been a lifelong supporter of the Boston Celtics, and he and his daughter shared a passion for the game of basketball. He is survived by his wife, April (Fenner) Marsh, and his cherished daughter, Audrey Rose Marsh of Athol. Both of them will miss him deeply. Michael and Sally (Durell) Marsh, natives of Orange, are his parents. His sister Melanie (Marsh) Laitinen, her husband Peter, and their nephew Matthew Henry of Templeton are all members of the family. His Great Uncle Thomas Marsh, hailed from Queens, New York.

Aunt Patricia Marsh, who resides in Fitchburg, was his relative. Uncle Stephen Marsh and Aunt Ellen Marsh, both of Ashburnham, were his relatives. His great-uncle Terry Durell, who lives in North Carolina; his great-aunt Iris Durell, who also lives in North Carolina; his great-uncle Scott Durell and his wife Amy, who live in Troy, New Hampshire; and a large number of cousins.

James Dauphinais, Christopher Callahan, Gerardo Garcia, and Kevin Ghio were some of his closest friends and he leaves them behind as well. May the music continue to exist. His maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as his aunt Nancy (Durell) Cowan of New Hampshire, passed away before he was born. The family has made the decision not to hold any official services. Donations to the Boston Children’s Hospital are being requested in lieu of traditional floral tributes by the family.
