Jorge Rayo Obituary, Death – Jorge Rayo Jr., a graduate of Tohopekaliga High School who had been battling bone cancer for about a year and a half, lost his battle with the disease on November 18, 2022. He had been fighting the disease for over a year and a half. Jorge was a part of the Class of 2022 when he graduated. Since the 18th of November, 2021, he had been using a variety of strategies to combat the illness. While we deliver you this devastating news, our hearts are filled with the anguish that we feel for you and your family.

We are very sorry for what has happened. We are incredibly sorry for all that has taken place. Jorge was a tremendously talented actor who appeared on the stages of Tohopekaliga and the Dr. Phillips Center a considerable number of times while he was a student at the University of Central Florida for a span of four years. During that time, Jorge studied theater at the university. Jorge was enrolled as a student at the University throughout this time period.

Throughout the course of his career, Jorge performed on all of these stages hundreds of times each. Jorge’s primary occupation throughout that time period was that of a student because he was a student for the most of those years. The concept of what it means to be a Tiger takes up a sizeable portion of the time that has been set aside for conversations that are related to this subject matter. A person who is strong is one who possesses grace, loyalty, and strength in equal proportions. This is what makes up a strong person.

The ability to do so is what distinguishes a weakling from a stalwart. At this point in time, it is common knowledge that Jorge exemplified all of these attributes to a level that was unusually high than any other person. We will never forget the incredible days we spent with all of you, and we consider it a true honor that we were given the chance to get to know you, Jorge.

We were all together throughout that time, and the memories of that period will be seared into each of our minds for the rest of our lives if we choose to keep that connection. Even though you are not physically present with us any longer, we will never stop cherishing the time we had with you and will always keep your memories close to our hearts.
