Kadi Bergstedt Obituary, Willard, Ohio Resident Has Died

Kadi Bergstedt Obituary, Death – On November 22, 2022, the body of 37-year-old Kadi Mae (Hardy) Bergstedt, who resided in Willard, Ohio, was discovered inside her residence. She had passed away at ease while sleeping. She was born to her parents, Douglas Hardy and Terri (Vogt) Hardy, on May 30th, 1985 in Norwalk, Ohio. Her parents had passed away before she was born, so she never got to meet them. After completing their education at South Central High School and EHOVE, Kadi found employment at the Star of the West Milling Company in Willard. Kadi graduated from both schools in 2002.

In addition to being an amazing mother and a devoted wife, Kadi was a strong-willed woman who delighted in taking the reins and being in control. She incorporated these qualities into her passion for demo derbies, where she made it a point to ensure that everything went off without a hitch. Those derbies were her thing. Kadi is survived by her husband, Bart Bergstedt; their children, Brynlee Bergstedt, Corbin Barber, and Lillian Bergstedt; her father, Doug Hardy (and his wife, Margaret); stepfather, Mike Stevens (and his wife, Rachel); her sister, Megan Gibson (and her husband, Oliver); and her brother, Bill Marett (and his wife, Cassie); and her stepfather, Mike Stevens. In addition to Kadi’s mother, Terri Hardy, her daughter Autumn, who was only a young child when she passed away; her brother, Brent Marett; her aunt, Laura Aldrich; and her grandparents, Phyllis Hardy and Dick (Mary) Vogt, all passed away before Kadi was born. Autumn’s death came as a great shock to Kadi. On Monday, November 28, 2022, there will be a visitation held at the Huron County Fairgrounds in the EXPO Building, which can be found at 940 Fair Rd., Norwalk. The visitation will begin at two in the afternoon and continue until six in the evening. Donations in memory of the deceased can be made to the South Central Athletic Boosters and sent to the following address: 3305 Greenwich Angling Rd., Greenwich, Ohio 44837. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made.
