 Kate Smith Obituary, Death – When we found out that one of our coworkers, Kate Smith, had passed away the previous week, it came as a shock to all of us, and it is with a heavy heart that we share the news with you today. Kate had been a member of our team for a number of years, initially serving as the digital editor for History of Place and more recently contributing contributions to @Curating4Change. Kate has since left our group. Having said that, Kate is no longer employed here at our organization. After that, Kate decided to leave her position at our organization and quit. After some time had passed, Kate arrived at the conclusion that she would no longer be a part of our team.

She was the one who was in charge of compiling and administering the digital content for each of these occupations that she held, and she was also the one who was in charge of holding those roles. She was the one who was responsible for acquiring and managing digital content in both of these roles, therefore it was important for her to do so in both of them. Because she held both of these occupations, it was required for her to acquire and manage digital content. We reasoned that the most respectful way to demonstrate our respect for those who have passed away would be to remain silent on Twitter throughout the previous week in memory of those who have passed away, and so that is exactly what we did.

We have faith that those who have left this world would regard the manner in which we have conducted ourselves as respectful. This came about as a result of our wish to pay respect to a member of the community who had recently died away and who had been an inspiration to us in the past.
