She was from Medford, Oklahoma. According to posts from Facebook – Our hearts go out to the Kilpatrick family and the Stillwater basketball community as they grieve the passing of long-time coach Kendra Kilpatrick. On and off the court, she has inspired many young women. There are many things to admire and remember about Kendra Kilpatrick, but her faith will go on forever.

She shared the truth about God’s love; she believed in His ability to do miracles; and she remained faithful to His will until the end. Because of her strong faith, she was an inspiration to many students, families, educators, and coaches in our neighborhood and state. What a lasting impact she had on so many people’s lives, and now she is with our Creator. Such anguish and grief, as well as calm and comfort. Though we are saddened by her death, we are relieved that her body is healed and whole. During this difficult time, our family will continue to pray for Ross, the children, and her family.
