Kerri was a graduate of Arlington Catholic High School, which she attended during her senior year of high school. Kerri’s entire life had been spent in Woburn. She was a beautiful young woman who devoted herself wholly to her family. Her age was significant only in that she was young. Especially with regard to the mother’s daughter, Jayelyn.

When Kerri was younger, she always had a passion and love for sports, and she competed on a number of teams during her youth playing soccer, softball, and basketball. During this time, she also had a love for the outdoors. She was a very busy person back in those days, but she eventually settled down. Her favorite way to pass the time and the thing that brought her the most joy was to simply sit back and watch her daughter Jayelyn participate in any kind of activity. Her number one supporter and cheerleader, she was always there for her. Even from a considerable distance away, one could easily hear her.

She would cheer just as loudly for that child if they were to participate in the game, which is a blessing if you were able to have a child participate in it. Because she possessed such a large heart, she was able to find room in it for the love she had for each and every person she came in contact with. Kerri is also a breast cancer survivor, a difficult battle that she fought and won when she was only 28 years old. She has been cancer-free for the past nine years. Kerri will be leaving behind an insurmountable number of people who loved her as well as a family that is shattered to the very center.

In addition to her cherished daughter Jayelyn and her parents Martin and Joyce, she is survived by her sister Jennifer Tomney and her partner Steven Pitts of Salem, New Hampshire; her brother Marty Tomney III and his wife Patricia; and her sister-in-law Jennifer Tomney’s partner Steven Pitts of Salem, New Hampshire.
