Larry Southers Obituary, Death – Larry Edward “Push Rod” Southers, 64 years old, a resident of Campton, Kentucky, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Jackson, Kentucky was the location of his birth on November 12, 1958. His parents, Edward Ray Southers and Edith Irene Southers, had passed away before he was born. James Thomas Southers is Southers’ brother. The Breathitt County Lodge had previously been led by him as its Master. He participated in the activities of the KY Widows Sons MRA as a member of the Level Riders Chapter. In addition to that, he was a member of the Church of God in Tarr Ridge.
His wife is the only person he leaves behind. The Campton, Kentucky resident Glenda Joyce Southers. Scott and Jessica Southers, both of Palm Bay, Florida, are their parents’ sons. The Orlando, Florida resident Steven (Alicia) Southers. Dusty White of Campton, Kentucky, who is the stepson. Lori Halsey, who is married to John, and Angie Halsey, who is married to Chris, both live in Campton, Kentucky. Mike (Judy) Southers is my brother, and they live in Campton, Kentucky. Teresa (Dennis) Moore of Jackson, Kentucky, is my sister.
Baylee Marie Southers, Blake Halsey, Ellie Halsey, and Conner Halsey are all the grandparents’ grandchildren. Faith Moore is the very special niece. In addition, he is survived by a large number of members of his family as well as friends. Funeral services will be place on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Deaton Funeral Home. Hurley Smith Jr. will preside over the ceremony. – Burial was performed at the Southers Family Cemetery located in Jackson, Kentucky. On Wednesday, visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. On Wednesday evening at seven o’clock, there will be Masonic rites held. The arrangements have been taken care of by the Deaton Funeral Home.
