Paul Sinclair Obituary, Death – Paul Leroy Sinclair, who was 75 years old, passed away on Friday at his home in the company of those he loved. In Iola, on October 9, 1946, Paul Sinclair was brought into the world by his parents, Jodie and Irene (Malloy). He was a member of the class of 1964 that graduated from Iola High School. On September 26, 1964, in the town of Iola, Paul married Roberta (Yohon) Sinclair. Their marriage resulted in the birth of two children.

At the Allen County Fair in Iola, Paul got his start riding racehorses when he was just 12 years old, and he continued to pursue his passion through breeding, training, and racing horses until the day he passed away. He cherished each and every second of it.
In addition to this, he was a skilled businessman who understood the significance of providing truthful and courteous service to his clientele. It was in May of 1974 when he opened his own plumbing business. The company, Sinclair Plumbing, is going strong even after all these years. Paul was a member of both St. John’s Catholic Church and the Horse Breeders’ and Parimutuel Association (HBPA).

Paul is survived by his wife of 57 years, Roberta; son, Robert (Heather) Sinclair and daughter, Paula (Jeff) Geiss; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Harry, Jim, and Art; and one sister, Grace Wools. Paul is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His parents and his brother, Joe Lee, had passed away before him when he passed away.

At the St. John’s Catholic Church in Iola, there will be a Rosary recited at 9:30 in the morning on February 11, and then Mass will begin at 10 in the morning. Immediately after the service, the funeral procession will proceed to St. Mary’s Owl Creek Cemetery in Yates Center for the burial. Friends and family are invited to stop by The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service on Thursday evening between the hours of 6 and 8.
