Blair, a 96-year-old resident of Knox who had been battling disease for a significant amount of time and was Phyllis J. Blair’s final resting place, passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She had been struggling against the sickness for a significant amount of time. She was born in Rimersburg on October 27, 1926, and she was the daughter of Joseph Montgomery, who had passed away, and Florence Snyder Montgomery, who had also passed away. Both of her parents had passed away before she was born. Her mother and father had already passed away by the time she was born. Her parents were no longer there with her. They had long since left.
Her marriage to Ernest Blair took place in 1946, and he passed away in 2004. Her wedding to Ernest Blair took place in 1946. He was the one who took her life before her. As a married couple, they were given the gift of two children. In addition to being a devoted homemaker and a devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witness faith, Phyllis was also a fervent follower of the religion of Jehovah and was known as a Jehovah’s Witness. Several people were able to escape the burning home in time, including the man’s sons, Ron from Knox, Larry from Rockland, and Steve, also from Knox. The house was completely destroyed by the fire. In addition to having a significant number of great grandchildren, the ancestors also have a large number of grandkids.
Her other surviving siblings are Winan Montgomery, Lorraine Montgomery, Martha Montgomery, Helen Montgomery, Lois Montgomery, and Beulah “Jane” Montgomery, in addition to Phyllis Montgomery. Phyllis Montgomery is the only one of her siblings who is still alive. The only other member of her family to have preceded her in death was Phyllis Montgomery. Her entire family, including her siblings, is thriving, which is wonderful to see. As a direct result of her wish, there will be no public calling hours and no services that can be obtained by the general public. The Pleasant Hill Cemetery, which is located in close proximity to Shippenville, is going to serve as the final resting place for the deceased person.
