Ryan Kinman Obituary, Death – Ryan Leroy Kinman, our cherished son, grandson, and brother, passed away on Monday In Stephenville, Texas, on January 8, 1986, Ryan was born. Ryan was a resident in Deming and earned his high school diploma there in 2004. After graduating from high school, Ryan served in the US Air Force. Ryan had a gift for making people laugh, and his big, happy smile would always make you smile as well. He enjoyed cracking jokes and was frequently making fun of those around him. Ryan was christened at the First Baptist Church, where he and his mother JoLynn were active in the music ministry. He was gifted with a fantastic voice, a wonderful sense of humor, and was frequently seen singing the songs he so adored. With the intention of one day becoming a teacher, Ryan was enrolled in Dona Ana Community College.
Cars and trucks, especially noisy, fast ones, were Ryan’s life’s passion. He would talk for what seemed like an eternity about vehicles. He had a vast amount of information about the vehicles he loved so much, cars and trucks. Ryan also enjoyed competing in races, particularly mud bog and drag racing. It’s difficult to put into words the sadness that loved ones are feeling at this moment. Ryan has probably already persuaded the Lord to grant him access to a loud, fast automobile or truck and is on a track someplace in Heaven, which eases the grief of our loss.
His grandmothers, Mary Jo O’Neal and Lorene Kinman of Deming, his uncle David Kinman of Deming, Janelle and Rudy Avalos and family of Stephenville, Texas, Kaye and Charles Kennedy and family of Las Cruces, as well as numerous cousins in New Mexico, Nevada, and Texas, survive Ryan. Ryan is also survived by his parents, JoLynn and William Kinman, his brother, Connor Kinman, and their families, all of Deming. His grandfathers William F. Kinman and Johnnie Leroy Carlton died before him.
Visitation will take place at the First Baptist Church on Friday from 12 to 2 p.m., and funeral services will start at 2 p.m. with Reverend Joe Byers officiating. The next step is a burial at Mount View Cemetery. During services, childcare services will be available.
Connor Kinman, Javier Trevizo, Gilbert Contreras, Steve Bouton, Cody McDougal, and James Bucher will serve as pallbearers. Distinguished bearers are Joe Bill Nunn, Dave Wilguess, Bobby Teague, Lonnie Teague, and Chad Zumwalt.
