Sheryl Ziegler Obituary, Death – Sheryl “Sheri” Lynn Ziegler, age 55, a resident of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on the 20th of November in 2022. On January 21, 1967, she entered the world in Rockford, Illinois. Sheri was a doctor who specialized in oncology and hematology. She began her career in Evansville in 2006, and all of her patients in that city adored her. At Ascension, she served on the board of directors for several years. Cancer Pathways Midwest and Chemo Buddies were caused that were very important to Sheri. She was passionate about beekeeping, reading, wordle, taking trips with her family, and fireworks, and she enjoyed all of these activities.

She attended the Washington Avenue Church of Christ regularly throughout her life. Sheri was active in the Church Youth Group that she attended. Sheri was known for her radiant grin and contagious laugh, both of which had the ability to brighten any environment. She had an artistic mind, loved animals, especially her Koko, and was a very competitive person. She was also very good at sports. Sheri was living in the Detroit area when she was introduced to Mark Ziegler, the man who would become the love of her life, by some mutual friends (John and Judy Sorovetz).

They tied the knot on April 1st, 2005, which is also known as April Fool’s Day. The couple then became parents for the first and only time two years later, when they were blessed with the arrival of Aiden Christian Ziegler. Koko, the family dog, and her mother, Carol Arnsmeier, both passed away before she did.

Sheri is survived by her husband Mark Ziegler, her son Aiden Ziegler, her father Dwaine Arnsmeier, her brother Bruce Arnsmeier (Michelle), her nephews Ryan and Kyle Arnsmeier, and her niece Alexis Arnsmeier; her mother-in-law Marty “Meme” Ziegler; her father-in-law Larry Ziegler (Bonnie); her brother Kent Ziegler (Pam); her nieces and

On Monday, November 28, 2022, at one o’clock in the afternoon, the Washington Avenue Church of Christ will play host to a funeral service, which will be officiated by David Rogers. At the church, friends and family are welcome to visit from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service.
