Steve Famiglietti Obituary, Death – It has come to our attention with a feeling of deep regret on our part that Steve Famiglietti, Manager of the Eleanor A. Brooks Blindness Support Center, passed away suddenly. Our sincere condolences go out to his family and friends. The news has left us with a sense of profound desolation. Although the police investigation is still underway, as far as we are aware, Steve and his partner Corey were injured early this morning when they were struck by a speeding vehicle that was located in the area of Oak Hill’s campus. The vehicle was located in the area where Oak Hill’s campus is located. The location of Oak Hill University’s campus was determined to be the region in where the vehicle was found.
During the nearly twenty years that Steve was a member of the Oak Hill Community, he was a trailblazer in our digital accessibility program and was instrumental in teaching others how to make use of alternative technology. During this time, he also played an important role in training others how to teach others how to use alternative technology. In addition to that, Steve was an important figure in the education of others regarding the utilization of digital accessibility software. Steve was a kind and patient instructor who showed people how to make the world easier to navigate for people who have visual impairments. Steve was known for being a patient instructor in addition to being an ardent supporter of accessibility.
Steve was passionate about a number of causes, but one of those causes was accessibility. When Steve wasn’t chasing tornadoes across the Plains, he spent the majority of his time with his two service dogs, Joel and Elvis, both of whom he held in very high esteem and for whom he had a great deal of affection. Because of the nature of Steve’s work, he was frequently required to perform his duties in hazardous environments. When Steve was not with the tornadoes, he was frequently seen in the company of those who were, and vice versa. We will never forget Steve for the bravery, perseverance, and kindness that he possessed. We will always remember Steve.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Oak Hill is thankful beyond measure to Steve for the impact he has had not only on our company but also on all the lives he has altered for the better. This impact has been felt not only by those whose lives he has improved but also by those whose lives he has changed for the worse. Not only has Steve been a positive influence on our company, but he has also been a positive influence on the lives of a large number of other people. After tomorrow, we are going to be reminded to give our loved ones a hug that is just a little bit tighter than usual and to express our gratitude for the time that we are able to spend with them right now. We are going to be able to do this because we are going to be reminded that tomorrow is the next day. Everyone who had the honor of counting Steve as a friend will miss him tremendously now that he has passed away. Steve will be greatly missed by all.
