Thomas Wincek Obituary, Death – Thomas “Tom” Wincek, 74, of Tionesta, Pennsylvania, died on Friday evening at UPMC Northwest (November 18). On June 19, 1948, he was born in New Castle to John and Janet Wincek. His parents’ names are John and Janet Wincek. Tom was a multi-talented craftsman who enjoyed working with his hands and being outside. He spent a significant amount of time working for the Forest Service in the Allegheny National Forest during that time. Tom relished the chance to travel the world and explore new places.
Through his photography, he was able to capture many priceless moments, and he enjoyed telling the stories that accompanied these photographs. He was into vintage automobiles and movies. Tom never missed a beat when it came to recognizing old Hollywood movie stars or classic cars, and he always had a story to tell about them. Tom is well-known for his deep affection for his family and friends, as well as his willingness to lend a helping hand or listen without judgment. He was a selfless husband, father, brother, uncle, son, and nephew. He was a genuine giver, a fantastic friend and confidante, and a fantastic friend and confidante.
He was an excellent confidant and friend. Tom’s gentle and thoughtful demeanor, compassion, and witty observation will live on in our hearts for the rest of our lives. His influence on our lives will grow in tandem with our own personal development. Everyone will miss him tremendously. He is survived by his wife, Jean Wincek, one sister, Karen (Susie) Rowland of Ocean City, three children, Jerome Wincek and partner, Janeil Todhunter of Oil City, Lisa Wincek of Erie, and Amy Wincek and partner, Zane Abplanalp of Holiday, as well as two grandchildren, Northern Wincek and Jasper Wincek. Jerome Wincek and his partner, Oil City’s Janeil Todhunter.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Nicholas Beres, and great-grandmother, Helen Beres, as well as his father, John Wincek, mother, Janet Wincek, brother, Roger Wincek, and sister-in-law, Lucy Wincek. On a later date to be announced, a celebration of life will be held in honor of the deceased.
