Tiantian Kullander Obituary, Death – Tiantian Kullander, also known as “TT,” a co-founder of Amber Group, died unexpectedly while sleeping on November 23, according to the company’s official website. Kullander was 30 years old when he died, and he is survived by his wife and son. TT served on the board of directors of the esports company Fnatic and founded the KeeperDAO decentralized finance protocol in addition to assisting in the formation of the Hong Kong-based Amber Group. This protocol allows participants to trade, borrow, and stake assets while protecting against minervalue-extracted bots and donating the proceeds back to the community. In addition, TT co-founded the Amber Group in Hong Kong.
Amber Group stated in an official statement that TT had given the company his “intellect, generosity, humility, diligence, and creativity.” He was said to be “leading by example” with “his intellect, generosity, and humility.” In addition, the company stated: “TT was a respected thought leader and widely recognized as a pioneer for the industry. His depth of knowledge, his willingness to collaborate and his desire to always help others benefited countless start-ups and individuals. His insights and creativity inspired many projects, people and communities.”
Kullander, Michael Wu, Wayne Huo, and Tony He, as well as Thomas Zhu, a Bloomberg LP developer, founded Amber Group as a side project in 2015. Their primary goal was to investigate the application of machine learning in the trading industry. In 2017, they began focusing all of their efforts on the project. Kullander previously worked in Goldman Sachs’ structured credit trading department and Morgan Stanley’s emerging markets trading department. He was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, which honors the most promising young business owners, industry leaders, and entertainment figures under the age of 30.
