Tom Walling Obituary, Death -In a post that I made earlier today, I mentioned that Tom Walling had not been seen anywhere, and I stated that this was still the case when I said that it was still the case. He was located, but the circumstances in which he was found had already deteriorated to the point where it was no longer possible to save him at that point in time. In my mind, Tom was an extremely talented drummer who was able to play in a wide variety of styles. This is how I remember him. We didn’t spend enough time together for Tom and I to form a particularly powerful emotional connection with one another during the time that we were together.

The topic of playing drums and how to play them comes up in some of our less public interactions, such as emails and private conversations. I thought it was very thoughtful of him to tell me a few things about seeing me, and I very much valued the opportunity to do so.
