Wayne Knuckles Obituary, Resident of Ashland, VA Has Died

Wayne Knuckles Obituary, Death – It has taken me some time to collect my thoughts and feelings about what happened the week before last. On Monday, we got on a plane and headed back to Virginia to spend some much-needed time with the family there. On Tuesday morning, each and every one of us was shattered with the utmost amount of heartbreak. A terrible car accident took the life of my oldest brother, Wayne Knuckles Jr. He did not make it to school, along with two young teenage girls who were also traveling in the car with him on their way to school.

I’m still not sure how to deal with everything that’s happened. I am still numb. When I was 5 years old, Wayne was officially adopted as my brother. Even though we were not related by blood, the connection that we shared was extremely strong. I will always treasure the memories that we made while we were growing up and just trying to figure out everything together. I have no doubt that he is rejoicing in heaven with our other brother David and his mother Polly, free from all suffering and pain. I would like to respectfully request that you include his three lovely daughters and his father, my stepfather Big Wayne, in your prayers.

Thank you. As a mother, I simply cannot fathom the idea of my two sons meeting the same tragic end. Because he has always been so strong, please help him to keep his composure and cling to life. There is nothing I can say that will alleviate the suffering you are going through right now. I just want to pray that when we think about him and the memories we have of him, we do so with love and joy in our hearts. I hope to see you again soon. I will always love you.
